The Club announces the list of players for the next RBL Season 2016

F.C. Giesinger Stars Manager Francesco Li Greci, has made official the Squad for the next RBL Season 2016.

After the Triumph in the fifth RBL League 2015 F.C. Giesinger Stars were promoted to the fourth League which promises to be a very interesting and challenging Championship next year.

The List consists of nineteen players, two Goalkeepers, six Defenders, seven Midfielders, and four Strikers. The two new signings are Claudio Ragona in Midfield and Michelle Wise forward.

Both already appeared at the end of the last Season and slowly proved their importance giving Li Greci a vaiable alternative in the midfield, already proven yet, and a bit of freshness athletic forward that after the loss of Galvèz needed to be renewed. The player less, William Marchelli who scored a sensational Season 2015, is still waiting to clear up his availability to join the 2016 Squad. Li Greci said " William is an amazing player and a good boy. He is very important to "break " the match with his high techical skills and he already knows how the team plays. Altough the competition from the next Season will be very high. We all wish to have him back for the following RBL Championsip " . Younus's coming back seems to be a useful graft in the Giesinger Midfield especially after the injury of Thomas Kagerer that combined with the substance of newsigning Ragona foreshadows one of the strongest midfields of the whole 4th League. Li Greci said again " our future goals are to be linked to our growth as a team. especially during trainings. There can't be targets without growing as a team. Workouts are for me the most important part of the week. I'm expecting improvements in ball possession, especially when we are ahead during the match and more cynism in front of the goal." Right in this direction is the newsigning Wise; more " hunger " and alternatives to the Forwards that from next season will find much more organized defenses than it was in the 5th League.
